About Hyosang Kang and the teaching and research behind Math Projects.
Math Projects was created by Hyosang (Henry) Kang, a professor of mathematics at the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST).
Teaching
I taught mathematics at the University of Michigan from 2005 to 2011 and have taught at DGIST since 2015. I develop project-based lessons in which students use programming, visualization, and mathematical modelling to turn an abstract idea into something they can test and explain.
